Semester Breaks - An Abandoned Campus

I was one of those that actually spent a good deal of semester break on campus. No - not because I had nowhere else to go. Rather because the basketball season didn't take the same hiatus as the students. Reflecting back, the campus took on an entirely different perspective when abandoned by students, faculty and many staff. It was actually peaceful, calm and somewhat enjoyable to "hang out" with no classes or exams hanging over your head.

Many of us have fond memories of the "Rocks". They served varied purposes "in the day", but mostly they served as a retreat from the classroom or dorm room. A place to hang out and do whatever. A place to develop relationships.
